I have a 14 month old old Labrador/ridgeback pup. She is a reddish colour. Her name is Rosie. She was given to us unexpectedly last Christmas Eve. We were not in the market for a large dog but we tried our best with her for the year. We have now realised with much regret that we cannot handle her. We have a young child and feel that it is irresponsible to keep the dog. We have been in contact with our local pound, Dogs Trust Ireland and UK but nobody will take her on.
