The dog can't be registered in 2 breeds but he can definitely buy akc registration papers for one breed or the other from, most likely, the greedy breeders with no integrity who bred the dog. Unless someone else complains to the registry about the breeder or the dog, the AKC won't request a DNA test which is why people seeking a purebred should only deal with hobby breeders who show dogs say they are breeding for the betterment of the breed ( even some of them are scum just not as many as breed just to resell). So, you see what do the papers' really mean? Any registry would fine this breeder for fraud. He should really pursue that. |
