I'm thinking of adopting an Akita / German Shepard mix from a local shelter. They are guessing him to be around 2 years old. He hasn't been nuetered yet, but will be before he comes home. He seems to have no manners so likely not much training at all. I've never owned an Akita before and I have 2 cats at home. Am I crazy?? Is this an impossible task? Am I doomed to have him eat my cats?
