My name is Anna Johnstone, I live in Sweden, and I'm 27 years old. I am looking for a new (adult) Akita, a rescue dog or from a shelter in need of adoption.
I've had an Akita girl of my own a couple of years ago, and just adore the breed.
We don't have shelters in Sweden, as no dogs are living in such poor conditions. The only Akitas here are well cared for from breeders and I want to help and care for an Akita in need than a flashy show dog. Because of this, I've had to look for dogs overseas as the breed is more common there than here.
I'm looking for a boy who is happy, gets on fine with people and not dog aggressive on walks, good on leash and does'nt have too much dominance issues. Must know basic obedience and if possible be quite eager to please. (Of course with Akitaness ...) A bit silly and playful :) Not older than 5. (Otherwise the dog can't get an insurance in Sweden.)I don't have children or any other animals, so he would have all the love and attention for himself.
I am willing to travel abroad to find a forever friend, do you have the dog for me needing a new home? Breeders maybe looking for a new home for a dog are also welcome.
(Preferrably not from the UK for the moment, but negotiable)
