I have mixed feelings about this:1. I can't stand people who talk and talk about what they were trying to say rather then write it. 2. it's very helpful to be able to ask questions about what some peoples often vague or incomplete comments meant. The shy or incomplete things like. I like that. Didn't like it when often are lacking a why' that a writer needs to fix.3. the really short comments. that was weird, I didn't get it. again, I'm all about the why, and either fixing a draft or making a note. Like too wordy for the average reader, or good it scared so and so, ha ha etc If that is what you are going for, scaring somebody or making them think, then sometimes you have to prod, just a little bit to figure that out, and that sometimes required not being completely silent.
