Re: | Akita Stud Dog | Ad: | the vast majority will yes. It does deenpd on the individual dog,and the relationship they have with their owner. but in most cases they will by instinct protect the pack leader. In their natural surroundings they would protect Mum (pack leader) I am a great believer in keeping them as close to mother nature as possible. I love my Dogs, but they are dogs and not humans. I treat them like they would be treated by their Mum and I get love and respect back from them as their pack leader. I have a GSD and a Schnauzer/jack russel cross both very docile dogs, but you can bet both of them would have no hesitation in protecting me if they feel a threat, and there sense of a threat is much more accurate than ours. They have a very keen perception of when something is wrong.I always trust my dogs instinct of a person, they can judge far better than I. |
