There is a demand for this breed as sledding, pulling and northern lifestyles are making a comeback. We have a 2 year old female that had her first litter 8 weeks ago and we're keeping one of the females. We thought it would be best to breed her with a smaller dog for the first time, so we had a purebred Siberian Husky do it. She had 8 and only lost 1 in the first couple days. Her name is Kiara and her father is a purebred Alaskan Malamute and her mother is Siberian and Alaskan Malamute. We favor the Alaskan because of their kind,gentle disposition, quietness, and loyalty. We do not have them inside, so the cold weather breed is ideal for us. She is excellent with our 6 children-we pray for our puppies to all go to good homes and want to keep some contact with those who buy the pups. Our names are Brian and Sandy Langendoen.
