I am building value for food through play ( you have to swallow the treat before I will give you the toy ) but really, his highest value reward is a fast tug. Does her learn more slowly? It IS slower training process becuase it just takes longer to play for a second than to swallow a treat, but I think you have to use what is MOST reinforcing to the animal and the animal gets to choose what that is. |
