My dog had mange when he was a puppy and so did half of his litter. He has a genetic weakness for a type of mange that he inherited from his mother. If your puppies have this kind of mange, your pug should probably not be bred again as it can reflect poorly on the breed and it is a characteristic passed down to other generations. Mange of any type can be very painful for a dog but is especially hard on puppies. Please take them to the vet.References : |
