I am interested in finding a puppy for my cousins who lives in Germany. After much research, they have decided that they want this breed. I am acting on their behalf, doing the search to find a suitable puppy to deliver to them next summer. I have to admit that although I am familiar with many breeds of dogs, I have not had much exposure to the Black and Tan, but everything that I have read about them in the past several weeks has peaked my interest.
I prefer to work with reputable breeders who are honest and won't mislead me just to make a sale. I have a lot of work to do to find a puppy that is ready by spring. My plan is to keep the puppy with me for several weeks to ensure it is in good health and to start some basic housebreaking and manners, etc. before we fly overseas.
Anything that you can tell me about your breeding program, bloodlines, breed characterstics, health guarantee, puppy placement, price of puppies, and advice on shipping and flying would be of great interest to me. I would also love to recieve pictures of your breeding stock and puppies. I realize that I am asking a lot from you but I am taking this request from my cousins seriously and want to do the best possible. And if you can not help me, please drop me a line and let me know.
