Welcome to Cherokee Goldens Golden Retrievers!
At Cherokee Goldens we breed AKC registered Golden Retrievers. We are a small family owned breeding kennel located in Bullard, Texas. Bullard is situated in northeast Texas and is approximately 15 miles south of Tyler and 100 miles southeast of Dallas.
Currently we have one AKC registered Golden Retriever pair, Kaitlin's Captain D. Butterscotch and Lauren's Daisy Belle. Both dogs are 3 years old and we have owned them since they were puppies. The Sire and Dam have been examined and both dogs meet the breed standard. The pair are not related, and both of the dogs pedigrees were thoroughly checked to prevent interbreeding. Both the male and female have AKC show experience. Our dogs have been shown in AKC approved shows, and are group winners in Conformation. We also practice the sport of Agility with our dogs. The Sire and Dam are both ready to take Therapy Dog testing and to take the Canine Good Citizen test.
Since our Golden Retrievers are a major part of our lives we breed for quality, rather than quantity. Our Golden Retrievers live indoors, in the midst of family activity, and are accustomed to normal household sounds. The Puppies are well-socialized and loved. We house train the puppies as best we can before they go to their new home. We devote a good part of our day to training and socializing Golden Retriever puppies. We are a work-at-home family, so we are able to meet the puppies needs on a 24-7 basis. We also devote our time and energy into training our Golden Retrievers to be good citizens and gentle, loving pets. Your puppy will have been wormed and had the appropriate shots. Also, we will provide you with a 4-generation pedigree prior to buying. Our kennel's primary goal in breeding and raising Golden Retrievers is to constantly improve this breed by producing well tempered, beautiful quality family pets!
Our litter was born January 27th, 2009. The puppies will be ready for release March 10th. We have 5 puppies, 3 males and 2 females. They range from dark to light golden. For more information and pictures, please visit our website at:
