Preferably two puppies because when the family is at work/school for five hours, they can keep each other company in a 75'X85' fenced yard with access to the basement until we return. There is always someone home, but our shift schedules result in one of us sleeping for five hours. Ideally a male and female would be our choice, but the main desire is that the dogs have companionship throughout the day and night. We have had one, and he was the most remarkable dog we have known; loyal, intelligent and protective. |
