With paientce, if done properly, your puppy will view their crate as their den and will actually prefer it. This will be a lifesaver when housebreaking a puppy too. If you can, see if you can leave a cloth or t shirt with your puppy while it is with mom and the rest of the litter that way you will bring something home with your puppy that smells like their family. If you can't do that, a shirt with your own scent will work too since you will likely bond very quickly. Crate training will be the key to a happy puppy and a happy owner |
