| Re: | Irish Water Spaniel Stud Dog | | Ad: | good-bye to my aunt and uncle in 1978; they would drive back to Thunder Bay, via Sault Ste Marie and the North shore route of Lake Superior, while we were going to Toronto via the Detroit-Windsor tunnel.Following the road North from your town on Google Maps, I found Batchawana Bay just NW of Sault Ste Marie, where we syeatd overnight at a lodge that now has another name. To my memory it was then (1991) called the Blue Water motel. I remember falling over the concrete bumper (to avoid hitting the building with your car), since my view of it was blocked by the armful of cameras and binoculars I was carrying inside from the car. Every camera and binoculars survived, except that my camera picture counter got a concussion and failed to count correctly for the rest of its lifetime. Fortunately I could still take the pictures. |
