| Re: | Mastiff Puppy Wanted | | Ad: | We have recently lost our 5 year old American born Boxer to cancer. Before that we had a Finnish born German Shepherd for 12 years, until its hips failed.
Our children Anastasia (14) and Michael (9) were totally devastated when our Boxer Rambo died and we would like to get a short haired pet but the German Shepherd has a lot of hair shedding which causes allergy to Anastasia.
So our compromise is a Mastiff, about 4-6 months old, house or crate trained, as a family and house protection dog. We do not intend to take him to Dog Shows, sports or other exhibitions.
Most important is that the dog is in good health, has pedigree to obtain Finnish Kennel Club membership, health insurance etc.
We live in a large omakotitalo with a metal fenced garden, in Varisto Vantaa, and the dog has the entire downstairs during the daytime when we are at work and school.
The children are used to taking care of the dog, walks and play. So it must be adaptable to young children.
Please let me know if you have a Male 6-8 month old puppy for sale to Helsinki Finland.
