This hotel definitely deserves its 5 star rating. The staff were always very pleasant and looking to help and anyway they could, the beds were very large and comfortable and the rooms were spacious. I was lucky enough to get a room with a spectacular view of the harbor and Signal Hill. As an added bonus it had several shops a restaurant, a bar, a salon and spa, a pool, a gym and a hot tub. The hotel was in walking distance of many great shops and tourist attractions and was only a $6 cab ride from George Street which is packed with many great bars/pubs. My only real complaint is the cost of room service. The items on the menu were pricey (but I guess that is expected in a 5 star hotel) as well there was a $3.50 delivery fee) Other than that I would highly recommend paying a visit to St. John's and staying at The Sheraton. The people were very friendly and sites were great. I will definitely go back again! |
