You did so much to ease Ringo's suffering after his early life of abuse, and though his life was short, his last parts were filled with such obvious care and love. What really shocked me was the reference to summer throw away dogs. I'd never heard this term before. I wish people would understand that getting a dog is a lifetime committment. It isn't always easy, especially when you start with a dog who has a past, but it is worthwhile. The only dogs we will ever have will always come from a rescue situation, because they deserve the promise of a forever home. |
