My family is looking for a christmas puppy/young dog. We are a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids 8 years and 6 years). We like hiking, running, skiing and being out and about. We live on a busy road so we'll need a radio fence. My husband is a woodworker and works at home in the barn out back. So there will be someone home all day.
My son and daughter are both asthmatics. They both would be great with kids. Thoughts on this? Also we are looking for a really family friendly dog.
We hike, we bike, my husband has strangers who come in to buy furniture every day.
Thinking, researching and looking at the Portugese Water Dog as a real option for us. Also looking for a x-mas present. What is the cost?
We live in MA. Is the travel okay?
