What has happened in the last two months?Are they both fixed? Do they show this kind of behavior at any other time (even if it is subtle) or is it just over a specific special treat or all food, toys and other things?What happened after the first fight? Same gender fights are tough and good outcomes are not always possible. Putting totgeher two adults doesn't always work out. You are going to have to manage the behavior of both dogs because Maggie may end up fearful while Jeanine exhibits aggression that might send others to the hospital. At the least, you have to remove all food, treats, toys, etc and not leave them unsupervised. Then you will have to train them to exhibit acceptable behaviors around each other. Since it has escalated to biting bad enough to go to the vet, you may want to get professional help particularly for Jeanine. |
