I have an old (12 ½) Canadian sheltie (Storm) and would like to get another before Storm gets too old. His brother (Can. Ch. Shelgrande's Sky's the Limit) passed away last year. I'm not necessarily looking for a show dog as I have no intention of showing or breeding the dog. I might try Agility though. Storm can do it but I never entered him as I was working in the Middle East (both dogs crossed the Atlantic 5 times) and now he’s too old. However, I want a well-bred, strong dog who may be over-sized (as was the case with Storm). I’d prefer a blue merle (as Skye was), but would take a bi-black or a tri (like Storm).
I can go to Austria or southern Germany to pick up the dog as I have to go to Austria next month for a few days anyway.
