There is also a version of the story here in Japan, about a dog called Hachiko who went to wait at Shibuya station for his master to return from work every day, then when the master died Hachiko went to station every day waiting his master's return. It was made I to a Hollywood movie last year starring Richard Gere, obviously he was desperate for cash. |
