Holistic is the best way to go. Nothing with animal by-product. I chose Merrick. Its important to look at the first five ingredient. It says alot. You dont want low grade grain. Its also good to see more than one kind of meet because dogs do need meat! Also the most common brands (Iams/Pedigree..etc) are linked to alot of food allergies. Some good names are Merrick, Blue Buffalo (especially the wilderness line) and Wellness (especially the core line) You can get all of these at any local pet store.The website below talks about dog foods and shows you whats in them and why they are good or bad.Hope that helps.Maddie R |
