We are active people and would love to have an active pet that can keep up with us. We would prefer one under 1 year old, but we'd be will to take one that is up to 2 years old. As we are limited on who much we can spend, we would prefer a dog that needs a good home because it can no longer be cared for or a reasonably priced puppy.
