I am considering buying a dog, and all of the Internet questionnaires I have done, as well as my girlfriend who is a veterinary nurse, have suggested that the Whippet is the breed for me. This is quite coincidental because I have actually always wanted to own an English Greyhound, but now find myself in a small apartment, so obviously a Greyhound is out of the question. I live an active lifestyle, jogging, surfing and so forth, so in the absence of a yard, my dog would get a healthy dose of rigorous exercise when I'm back home from university every afternoon. Is there anyone you know of who breeds Whippets in South Africa?
