The stylish and incredibly useful hinge at the end of the 3.5-mm. jack from last year has been replaced by a simple angled piece, and the hard encasement that protected the Momentums has been replaced by a softer, lighter, less protective case. Again, this is par for the course, but I do wish more companies would take a lesson from V-Moda, which bundles its tiny Crossfade M-100s with a super-protective hard case. You're going to want to travel with your Momentum On-Ears, and while this soft case seems somewhat protective, a harder case would certainly be preferable.
