The Blue Tick is intelligent, loyal, and considered a good watch dog, it also seems to have a variety of barks for different situations.
Temperment:
This breed has a high tolerance for other animal and children, provided it has been raised around them. This breed is friendly toward strangers, however it is always ready to sound the alarm when bothered by someone or something suspiciously creeping around.
Coat:
Hair is short, with blue ticking. Predominantly dark blue is preferred, with some black.
Care
The coat sheds very little therefore minimal grooming is required.
