Character:
The Chesapeake Bay Retriever is friendly, intelligent and obedient.
Temperment:
This breed will chase cats, but will get along with your existing cat provided proper socialization has taken place. It will generally try to dominate other males.
Coat:
Coat is thick and short with a wooly undercoat.
Care
Brush the coat when the dog is shedding to remove dead hairs, but be sure not to harm the texture of the coat.
